Passato prossimo or Imperfetto?

With these exercises you will learn to distinguish and use the Italian past tenses "Passato prossimo" and "Imperfetto". Passato Prossimo is used to describe completed actions that took place in the past and have a specific point in time. It is equivalent to the English past simple tense. For example, "I ate a pizza yesterday" would be "Ho mangiato una pizza ieri" in Italian. Imperfetto is used to describe ongoing or repeated actions in the past. It is equivalent to the English past continuous or past imperfect tense. For example, "I used to eat pizza every Friday" would be "Mangiavo la pizza ogni venerdì" in Italian.
