Once you learn numbers 1 to 15 and the words describing 'tens' (twenty, thirty, forty, etc.) you will easily be able to begin forming numbers in Spanish. However, there is an interesting pattern after number 30. Instead of using one word compilations to describe numbers, they add 'y' (and) in between two words. For example, 41 is 'cuarenta y uno.'
