Some oder Any
“Some” und “any” haben in etwa die gleiche Bedeutung, werden aber in unterschiedlichen Konstellationen verwendet. In der Regel ist immer nur eine Variante richtig.
- Some wird in positiven Sätzen verwendet ("I'll have some coffee"), Angeboten ("Do you want some coffee?") and Fragen nach etwas ("Can I have some coffee?")
- Any wird in negativen Sätzen ("I don't want any coffee") und Fragen (außer Angebote oder Bitten um etwas) verwendet ("Do you have any coffee?")
