Much oder Many?
Die Unterscheidung und korrekte Verwendung von “much” und “many” bereitet nicht nur Anfängern, sondern auch manchen Fortgeschrittenen Probleme. Diese Fehler können relativ einfach vermieden werden:
- much wird bei Substantiven im Singular verwendet, die nicht zählbar sind. Zum Beispiel: "How much water is in the fish tank?"
- many wird bei zählbaren Nomen im Plural verwendet. Zum Beispiel: "How many pizzas should I buy?"
